The brief
Where it started
Rack-On makes lightweight, high-strength mounting bars for garage and storage walls. The company already had a mascot – Racky the Sasquatch – and hired me to build a set of playful product videos around him.
Racky delivers the rack, then takes it home and shows it off in his lair. Two settings, one joke, and a character who has to carry both. We shot on location in Langley, BC, on a soundstage built as a cave. Piper Ediger performed as Racky and handled the stunt work, running the character through a range of setups until there was enough to cut.

How it landed
Rack-On came away with a library of short spots it can cut for social, retail, and its own site – and a mascot that reads the same in every one of them.
